Piano Lessons are available to students of all ages, from children aged 7 to seniors, and experience levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. I welcome students who are eager to learn, passionate about music, and willing to develop their skills through consistent practice and active participation.
Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, interests, and musical goals. Whether you are beginning piano for the first time or looking further to develop your technique, musicianship, and interpretive skills, I strive to provide a supportive and engaging learning experience.
Maintain regular practice between lessons.

New students are welcome to schedule a complimentary trial lesson to discuss their musical backgrounds, interests, and goals. I believe that effective teaching is fundamentally a process of communication and collaboration. Rather than imposing a single method, I listen carefully to my students, encourage them to express their ideas and aspirations, and adapt lessons and curricula to support their individual needs and goals. I strive to create a supportive and respectful learning environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and taking ownership of their musical development.
Self-assessment is an important part of this process. Through activities such as recording their playing, comparing their performances with professional recordings, and reflecting on their progress, students learn to recognize their strengths and identify areas for growth. I encourage students to listen critically, experiment, reflect, and evaluate their own playing.
I place particular emphasis on developing a student's musical ear and awareness. Students learn not only how to play the notes, but also how to listen for and intentionally shape the sound they wish to create. Technical exercises and practice strategies are therefore introduced in service of musical expression rather than as isolated skills. I also encourage students to explore different approaches to interpretation, helping them become adaptable and independent musicians. Ultimately, my goal is to help each student develop the skills, curiosity, confidence, and independence to continue learning and making music with purpose and enjoyment.
